yeeeah. fall term isn't even over yet, and i need a break already.
since it's fun to stress out college students to maximum potential, they've decided that hey! it'd be real neat to make phlebotomy majors take both phle I and II IN THE SAME TERM!!! I is a pre-requisite for II, but hey, why not make the student take both, and II starts on a monday, and I on a wednesday, so guess what?! you'll be in the integrated class BEFORE the basic!! sweet!!
we'll also force you, because they are Only Offered At Certain Times, to take Intro to Disease, and Pathogenic Controls at the same time, too! for good measure we're going to throw in First Aid, Legal Concepts to Hospitals and Medical Practice, and awww! just for giggles even though you don't need it, take word processing! but we won't let you test out of that one, oh no. it's more fun to attend the class.
i am sitting on 19 credit hours in a 10 week term, jan-march. the only good news i got was that when i start phle III (externship) in the spring, i don't HAVE to do my ACTUAL 120 hours of work until summer (ie: working in the hospital and/or blood drives). so i may walk with my class then work in the summer and pray they hire me after 120 hours is over.
i would like to thank kevin for dealing with my on the phone, where i ran to after finding all this out, so that i could cry like an idiot girl, and also panic to the point of troubled breathing. i'd have to have seen that stint without medication. :-/
now, i can't find the person online i would like to talk to and haven't in a couple days, else i'm going to think he hates me, because i haven't had a chance to recalibrate after Panic Fest '03, #453248 today.
i haven't even begun to think of the homework load with 19 credits. luckily the I and II are *mostly* labwork...
my void does not want.
