this just seems way over the top! There's an auction company named Profiles in History that sells movie stuff. Examples:

$126,000 for a Superman suit from the '50s TV show
$46,000 for Arnold's jacket from Terminator 2
$305,000 for Captain Kirk's command chair from Star Trek
$60,000 for Darth Vader's helmet
$57,500 for the Wicker Witch of the West's hat from Wizard of Oz

After you have it, what do you do with it? I have this image of some guy dressed as Captain Kirk with the command chair in his living room, barking orders at his family...."Warp Speed, Mr. Zulu".

I do have an Enterprise and a Clingon Battle Cruiser still hanging from my ceiling with monofilament line........alongside a Millenium Falcon. J ate the head off my Boba Fett Sad) but I do have Luke and Han and Princess Doughnuthair. Oh yes, a great Star Wars fan I am !! Except for JarJar :-/
