Along with the confession, the name and identity has also been released, though the few tidbits of fact we are now being fed through media will of course fail to describe him properly...
As long suspected, the 25-year-old man is mentally disturbed since many years (as an example, he stabbed his drunkard of a father very badly at the age of 17 when the man was beating his mother), and as we also suspected, society failed to provide him the care and treatment he needed to help with his illness.
A telling example of what happens when society downsizes to 'save' money, though I doubt any long-term lessons will be learned from this...
As one of the few likeable and percieved 'honest' politicians, and a likely candidate as head of the Social Democratic Party (and hence, as extension, Swedish Prime Minister, as we like to be ruled by Social Democrats so much), Anna Lindh will truly be missed, not just by her two young sons and her husband, but also by most of the Swedish people.
