A few days ago a bank heist took place in the Norwegian city Stavanger, in which the criminals got away with the equivalent of around SKR10 million, and a police officer was shot to death by a round to the head.
The robberers planned everything very carefully; first they parked a truck across the garage exit at the Stavanger police station and set fire to it, then they tossed smoke and teargas grenades at police who responded to the scene before fleeing. Meanwhile the actual robbery was taking place.
Afterwards, they set fire to several getaway vehicles as well.
Now, police in Göteborg where I live have recently arrested several people believed to have connections with the Norwegian robbery. Somehow a car rented here had been connected to the crime, and that led police to the three individuals. As it turns out, the car was rented only about 1km from where I live!
Weird, huh?
In other news, I went to the gym today, and it felt pretty good. I plan on making a habit out of it too I might add. ...And not only because I spotted several cuties while I was doing my 55 mins of cardio!
