Last weekend I had "The Journeyman" as a house guest. That was not the odd coincidence.
We went on a tour. We like to take the opportunity to see thinsg we woudln't normally see,and having a guest is a great excuse. This year we went to Avebury [http://www.avebury-stones.co.uk/], Bath [http://www.romanbaths.co.uk/] and Bristol. Well we abandoned Bristol because it was shut! So we went to see the Clifton Suspension Bridge instead [http://www.clifton-suspension-bridge.org.uk/]
The odd amusement started in Bath. We walked down Gay Street to Queen Square. Silly, and funny. But, when we got to Clifton we parked in Camp Hill!
This got us wondering about coincidence. There was one other, too. One a couple of years ago I would not have been OK with. I had not realised until we left Bristol heading up the cliff to Clifton (Hmm, so that's how it got its name, then) that we would be near where the object of my obsession of so many years lived. Nor that we would be parking less that 1km from his house. Not that I have ever driven past it, Ijust know, on the map, where it is. And, the last thing is that, while walking round the stones at Avebury, I saw someone who reminded me of him. Except. of course, I have no idea what he looks like today.
The omens were good. On the way home I was hauled over for speeding, but I escaped a ticket because the policeman was decent and sweet and had a sense of humour.

Well, I prefer a policeman to be OUT of his uniform, hehe!
