I happen to be listening to them at the moment so I thought I'd make a thread about them.

Libera are a boy's choir based in London. The oldest are 14 and the youngest are 7 (apparently). They've released three albums in recent times, but I've only got the most recent one. Anyhow, I'd heartilly recommend it. Their music is sort of like New Age classical stuff. But there's quite a bit of variation in their songs, some are more upbeat, some are more relaxing. There's a lot of Latin within the songs though, but I like Latin. I did it for 3 years at my last school and got about 80% in my CE (Comman Entrance, exams taken at 13 in prep schools).

The official website is http://www.libera.org.uk where you can read up about them and listen to a few of their songs. Ones I recommend listening to are Salva Me, Libera, I am the Day, Sanctus II and Stay with me, which are four of my favorites but there's also Adoramas, Ave Varem and truly the BEST version of I vow to thee my country I've ever heard. It's just so moving. It's not the traditional version with flaring organs and such, just a light piano tune in the background and is just really powerfull. My brother's writing a screenplay for a film set in WWI, and I'm gonna suggest for him to use that song in. It would be so powerfull in his film, I can see it now. Their latest Album's called Free, and the other two are called Libera and Illuminosa.

Anyway, I recommend you check it out. Not to sound like some telemarketer thingy or anything. ;-D

A lot of their music is religious based though so atheists might not find it too appealing, but you can just ignore those bits. Like propaganda in American war films! Sad)
