Sean sent me a message. He asked "What happened to Justin?" He had seen something about him on Ashley's messagebaord. And I realised that, unless we keep what happened to Justin inour minds other boys, other girls, other men and women will follow the accidental path he trod to die prematurely.

I am going to keep this factual and unemotional. I have done my weeping and grieving. But, before you read on, please visit http://www.angelfire.com/ok5/justintheokie/memorial.html

Justin died by accident and by his own hand. Like many people he was innocently engaged in "trying for the best ever orgasm". Reputedly this comes from autoerotic asphyxiation - strangulation. You will find more information here: http://www.silentvictims.org/

This seemingly simple thing goes wrong. It is also much more common than you might ever believe. So many cases of a person having "Hanged himself" are not suicide per se. Not intentional suicide, at least. They are where they went too long without air and the ligature around the neck could not release because they were no longer conscious. All seated and kneeling "suicides by hanging" are much more likely to be from autoerotic asphyxiation, especially where the genitals are exposed. Though those finding the bodies often tidy them up a little before doing anything else.

So, a simple message. It is really from Justin, who was a friend to many here: Do not do it.

If you want to experience it, simply hold your breath. No aids to asphyxia. Otherwise you tend to die.
