Now, I know I kinda left some time back in a bit of a mood and such, but there has been quite a major development recently with Alex which I'm sure you'd all be all to enthraled to hear (heck, I have no-one else to tell). Since my 'parting' there's not been too much on. Well, I met a few parents of various year 7s and such (so they'll see what a nice guy I am!) but the main development is with Alex. Anyhow this week was the last week of the Easter Term (next term involves exams, but that's not important). On Tuesday, I think, he said I should come over to his house some time during the hols which I was like, yeah, that'd be cool. Then yesturday, after karate and when walking to his mum's car, I mentioned perhaps arranging to see each other the hols, following up what he said previously and he thought it was a good idea so, lo and behold, he gave me his phone number! His phone number! Eeee! I now have a way of contacting him out of school and perhaps arranging to see each other over the hols which would be fantastic. What's more he said I should phone him some time over the hols and what better consimation of friendship is there than seeing each other out of school and going to each other's houses and hanging out! Pretty blingin', huh?
I might get to see my friend, my best friend, over the holiday, and it'd be great! Just like being brothers (the type of which I've wanted for years), hanging out together in such a close friendship! Just like James and Martin... sort of! When I began mentoring, I never expected anything like this to happen, I hardly dared to dream it.
And another random development, my parents are getting a divorce.
