Greetings-
I thought I’d share a ‘funny’ moment. I don’t expect that this will have any legs, but it caused me to smile.
My grandson is three and a tad. We have been ‘talking’ on Sunday afternoon calls since long before he could put two words together to make a sentence. As he has grown the ‘quality’ of these calls has improved. At first there was a lot of coaching in the background: “Tell Chief this or that depending. ( I am ‘Chief’ instead of Gramps because there is no blood between us).
We have now reached the stage where he has all of the synapsis in place for a ‘real’ conversation, except he believes that because we are talking, I must be able to see whatever he sees while we talk, be that TV, or the dog, or his baby sister eating/wearing ‘s-getti’. It was a bit of an epiphany for me when I finally understood where his head was.
I never had kids in the house that young and am highly entertained by it all! Sorry if this isn’t high drama.
Anyone else have an epiphany or eureka moment recently?
Regards
Simon
