remember me?

i got a new computer 6 months ago, and hadn't saved favorite places, and whatnot. lost the link to here, and although it's easy to find, i just never had.

i had some screwy dream about posting here (don't remember what -- mostly it involved the layout and line of emoticons just below here, etc... the RSS feed i had when i was more actively posting here, etc) and so decided to peek back and see what's going on.

i am still working at my hospital; i'm now nationally certified through the ASCP, which means nothing more than a raise and i have fancy initials after my name. i'm going back to school next year to become a full MT (medical technologist), and i might do my master's study in hematology (including blood banking, blood disorders, etc).

oh, also i went into cardiac arrest a month ago. brady-tachy syndrome. i can thank ED's for that one. i had a cardioversion procedure done that made improvements, however, as of yesterday my BP is back down to 81/50, pulse 54. i guess i am to travel to cleaveland to have an EPS procedure done, except i am quite terrified to have that procedure done. besides, they already know the cause. but i guess this is to see what part of my heart isn't firing properly, and what to do. i'm 28 and likely will have a pacemaker, albeit a temporary, external one, or so my specialist out of grand rapids, thinks.

anyways, other than that, and working, and skating-writing-reading-music-shiloh, not a lot has changed. i hope everyone is well here.

-h.

my void does not want.
