maybe some you'll like, or some not. or some might be something you could apply to you.. or not. some i wrote for johnny weir (3 time US fig. skating champion; the one who 'bombed' in torino and suddenly everyone hates, haha) and they wound up in his birthday collection book, from fans all across the world; i put it to photos taken of him skating; each photo applied to the stanza; i can share that if anyone'd be interested to see.

I. (on sickness)

It is the purging
of lifeblood, but magnified:
hematemesis.

II. (jwe)

magic laced, he skims
pearl-smooth ice like an air-sylph,
his soul on his blades.

III. (motherhood)

a steadfast beacon
whether life be fogged, or clear,
is a mother's love.

IV. (tribute to unchained in 3 haiku's)

Beneath countless eyes,
secrets are scribed in spirals
for a crowd of one.

To watch is a breach:
it aches to the bone, to see
something so sacred...

...and i, a sentry,
as he breaks his heart on ice
for his love to heal.

V. (hatter)

her soul echoes mine –
a chain of ghosts & secrets
that binds the distance.

VI. (hatter)

a voice i’ve not heard,
yet it calls to me in dreams
in soul-tied whispers.

VII. (ana)

pound by pound, it's my
countdown to extinction; my
passive suicide.

VIII. (peacock/hatter)

friends are lost, severed
by blurring the lines between
ghost-dreams & real-time.

my void does not want.
