Last night, for no apparent reason other than that I bought several small, low value items in quick succession, and sent a request to a seller for one of those items requesting a refund, Paypal and Ebay have decided that I am a fraudster and have shut down my account. They have also contacted all of the parties with whom I have had a recent transaction to tell them that I am suspicious. (Isn't that libel?)
Quite how I match the profile of a scammer I do not know, but of course they wouldn't actually *tell* me.
Into the bargain, the ebay password reset feature, which I have been told to use, does not seem to work.
What a waste of time. It's taken me three quarters of an hour to sort this out so far and I still haven't got full access to my account yet. Bastards.
