As the sun sets, and the fireflies gather,
You take me in your arms, and comfort me, as the tears fall like rain from my eyes.
I smile inside, but cannot stop crying.
You had to be called onto your duty, as a soldier.
Nothing I could do to stop you, I guess.
I only prayed that you'd come back alive for me.
I stared at the picture of us all day, and all night.
It was the only thing that reminded me of you.
And it was in staring at that picture, that I was happy.
Becuase I knew, that even if you were shot and stabbed by the enemy,
That you would always love me.
I smile at that very thought, becuase it is that thought, that gets me through the bad times, that life brings.
We've both had our share of bad times, I know that first hand.
Yet, despite all that, I know you love me,
and I just want you to know, that whatever life brings us,
I will always stand by you.
Love, is a strange thing, is it not?
Love and Passion intertwine, and drive me to you.
Be strong for me, Butterfly,
as I will be strong for you, despite the tears and my own fears,
I will always be happy, simply for you.
Though lions may tear at my flesh, and I may be killed,
I will always remember my Butterfly.
The sweet, exquisit Butterfly, that is mine.

Though you may have differences, with the ones you love, one thing will always remain the same, and that is your love for eachother. Don't be discouraged when the sun goes down, and it gets dark, because there will always be someone out there for you, willing to lighten your dark times...
