Today i had a meeting at work and it went great. Had some breakfast and was looking forward to go home and relax.
Before i got on the hwy, i decided to stop for gas so i wouldn't have to do it in the morning. Where i parked, i had front view of the intersection at the hwy entrance. I finished putting gas in my car, walked over to get inside when right infront of me a semi slammed hard into the passanger side of a small 4x4 truck. I just heard a loud noise and i couldn't believe what just happened infront of me. The truck was literally bend in half, all windows broken, and lose metal everywhere.
As i drove past the scene of the accident, i looked inside the car and there was a famale passanger inside. She was not moving, she was trapped inside. the driver was unhurt, he was next to her, worried because it seemed bad. it made me feel so strange.
i kept wondering how in an ordinary day, a life can change forever. I felt bad because i know i have done some careless things while driving. It made me appreciate my life just a little more. Happy to be alive and thankful for all i got.
Just thought i would share this.
You don't love someone because they are beautiful, they are beautiful because you love them.
