That my heart was torn from my body....

Kevin came home, packed a bag or two, and left for parts unknown.

Well, admitedly, we did have our problems, our business was suffering from the collateral damage of several major employers closing their doors and putting some 20,000 or so workers out of jobs, the opressive feeling we both had towards the house we lived in, the angst of a homophobic neighbor.

A lot of things were happening and we both didnt realize them until they grew too large to manage. It wasn't all his fault and it wasn't all my fault... It takes two to make a relationship work and it takes two to let it fall apart.

Well, over the past year, we both did a lot of introspective annalysis.

I started back into school, closed the doors on our business (Army Navy surplus merchandise and equipment), and reciently, moved from that huge house into a clone of Kevin's and my first appartment together.

Last Sunday, Kevin, my Kevy came home... He made me the happiest guy I have ever been...

I told Kevin that we needed to talk more, to keep each other aware of how we felt whether they are good or not so good feelings, we need to keep things out in the open.

It's not easy having a relationship. It takes work, more work perhaps that any other thing any of us could possibly imagine for any other task...

We are both going to work hard to make our life together as perfect as we possibly can.

For those who gave my encouragment and many words of wisdom throughout the year, you have my love, friendship, and unwavering loyalty... Without you I don't know what I would have done in the worst times of this past year.

Life is great for me... Most of the time... But then I meet people online... Very few are real friends... Many say they are but know nothing of what it means... Some say they are, but are so shallow...

Frankly, we think such laws are silly. They do young people more harm than good. How can you possibly ask questions on a gay forum without coming out to your parents if you need consent?
