Yesterday I had to go shopping, not one of my favourite pastimes, and it came on to rain quite heavily. As I huddled into the bus shelter I found myself standing in the the queue next to an exquisitely beautiful young man.

In his late teens I would estimate. His skin was healthily white, his hair (what I could see of it under the black combination hat of beret and cap) was cut well and shining. His eyes were blue, on the grey side, but clear and sparkling. He was slim and dressed almost entirely in black. His denim trousers ( I wouldn't call them jeans) had a low rise and therefore sagged to show the top of his yellow and therefore uncoordinated briefs. The black belt accentuated his package.

I think he knew he was something special from his deportment both in the queue and on the bus.

Unfortunately there would never have been a meeting of minds between us. His shoulder bag advertised that he was a vegan and that he supported the the Animal Liberation Front (an extremist organisation in the UK that specialises in criminal activity and was responsible for destroying much of the smaller fauna in the New Forest by 'rescuing' farmed mink and releasing them into the wild.)

I'm not saying he was gay. That would have been wishful thinking on my part. I was glad just for once that the bus was late.
