I don't remember whether it was here or privately that Timmy once asked me for something that would succinctly describe a Jewish mother - and I don't remember whether I managed it or not. But I remembered his question last night when watching an interview on TV with Sergey Brin, who is currently visiting my country. For those who don't know, Sergey is a Jew and is the co-founder of Google. His personal net worth is estimated at more than $20 billion.
One of the questions the interviewer asked was what does his mother want him to do next. "She is constantly nagging me to go back to Stanford and finish my doctorate" was the reply.
