Please be very careful about the information you give out. While the younger folk here are very self confident, it is they who are most vulnerable to being outed because they have, in general, the most to lose, and are, in general, more likely to be the objects of lust than we old goats.
From an email sent to me carelessly I have, after less than 5 minutes of work, identified with precision the home address of someone, together with phone number. That is not good if privacy were required, not good at all.
Wherever we go on the net we leave traces. Those traces can identify us easily. If we wish to be anonymous then we need to leave a far lighter footprint.
Being "out and proud" is not a bundle of laughs unless one is entirely prepared for it. It may affect job prospects, for example. So please be careful.
