He will never ask for anything for himself, but he is facing a health challenge, a serious one, and is afraid.
He is neither young nor old, but he is not a well man. He has, quietly, done a very great deal for gay rights, though that is not relevant, really.
If he names himself and his condition as a reply to this, great. If not I am respecting his privacy.
But he needs prayers, thoughts, good wishes at the moment.
