Yeah, after 21 days, 7300 miles (about 11,750 km), 14 states, 19 hotels/motels, 6 national parks, and 10 different places to bike, I'm back. I've attached some photos of where I visited. In order are:

Logan Pass, Glacier National Park
Glacier Park Falls
Stream from the glacier. Yes, it is that green/blue from the ice melt.
Seattle Art Museum. The sculpture moves.
Seattle Space Needle built for the 1962 World's Fair.
Crater Lake National Park. That is snow on the edges of the lake.
Bike paths in Deschutes National Forest in Bend Oregon. (I don't have pictures of me on the trails. I was way too busy riding.) Mine's the orange Trek.
And Old Faithful.

Best parts of the trip were seeing Parks that I had only studied in books in Jr. High social studies classes. Had a great time biking all over the place. Centennial Trail in Spokane, Washington, River Trail in Great Falls, Montana, Port Angeles, Washington waterfront trail to the Coast Guard station on the peninsula, and of course the day of single track in Bend, Oregon.

Oh, yeah, and meeting Paul in person tops my list of memorable events - for good reasons. Hope I haven't embarrassed you, Paul.

I missed being out of touch with the forum. It's nice to go on a road trip, but it's also nice to be home.

Scott

Cycling is the one sport where a guy can shave his legs, wear spandex and bright colors, and be accepted.
