When I was a kid I used to grow a beard during the summer school holidays. Well, obviously not every year!

My father for ever urged me to shave it off. The more he urged me the more I decided not to, however stupid I looked. Early beards looked pretty stupid. I have a round face. A full beard really does not suit me. Makes me look like a fuzzy bowling ball.

Each time I shaved it off for school the next term they never noticed. Ah the esteem in which they held me!

Today I am 10 days in to a really silly beard. I'm growing it until She Who Must Be Obeyed notices it and says something. When she does I may shave it off. I might shave the beard off on one side and the moustache off on the other.
