I expect simple behaviours here. Friendship, and love.
Any advice should be from the perspective of the person asking, not the person giving!

I have a problem with the word "love". I never feel comfortable using it because I really don't know what it means. Looking it up on dictionary.com, I find 28 shades of meaning for the word. So it would appear that etymologists have little knowledge of its meaning as well. I think the word is often confused with words like "lust" and "admmiration". I think for me "love" involves the desire to give, "lust" involves the desire to receive and "admiration" is devoid of desire. What do you think?

Behold, how good and how pleasant it is
For brothers to dwell together in unity!
Ps 133:1 NASB
