From the first time I saw this quote, the beauty of the sentiment that it bespoke impressed me. However, I did not take the quote literally. For me, it's a sentiment thing.

Now someone has told me that this is literally true for them. That is, the object of their love looks more physically beautiful to them. So much so, that in a lineup with obviously better looking people, the lover still sees the loved one as the most beautiful.

Now am I weird or is the person who takes the quote literally weird?

Behold, how good and how pleasant it is
For brothers to dwell together in unity!
Ps 133:1 NASB
