... brought to you in an attempt to lighten the tone of things around here lately.

I'm sincerely hoping that others will jump right in and share their thoughts on any (and I'm certain there are many that are LGBT-themed too) of their own that might come to mind.

I would really like to know who the crazy is at the U.S. Trademark and Patent Office that approved Wal*Mart's trade-name for its' new line of store-branded (otherwise known as White-label or No-name) products.

"Great Value" apparently is the approved trade-mark, now making a name for itself in the North American media.

I can already see the trademark and patent infringement suits queuing up all over the place. Wal*Mart is going to be really, really, busy defending their new brand-name, and every Mom-and-Pop store, not to mention those Big-box Retailers (many of them competitor of the seemingly now ubiquitous Wal*Mart) will likely fall victim to this lunacy.

Think about it just for a minute ... and you'll surely recall hundreds, if not thousands, of printed flyers or other such mass-market pieces delivered over the years in your local newspaper, or in your mail box, with many, if not all, extolling the virtue of their offering as being "Great value". This of course doesn't even consider the myriad number of Radio and Television commercials which proclaim their clients worthiness using the same two words.

It is situations such as this that my mother would have dearly loved me to have become a lawyer!
