My first complete year as a member here. You all are true friends in the sense that I can pretty much be my true self here. There are very few places I feel free to be that. I'm sure this place will help me get better at being myself everywhere.

Frankly, we think such laws are silly. They do young people more harm than good. How can you possibly ask questions on a gay forum without coming out to your parents if you need consent?
