One of the nice things about this forum are the various national identities represented here.
Timmy does his best to present current affairs of an English nature, politics and social events that I would otherwise never see in the American media.
Brody gives me a good look at the best and worst of American politics, humor and social commentary. It's always quite an education to log on and see what my government is doing.

And so when I run across news like this from a reliable source I have to wonder at the way things are here and what my brothers across the ocean think of our American politics. In light of the article presented below, I often wonder how the American version of democracy is viewed.

I would like to see any comments about what I view as dispicable behavior by this individual who seems to play the political game for all it's worth. In light of the fact that America is always critical of foreign governments and the corruption we claim to see, what does someone like our Senator Shelby say to the world about us?
