Another member said I should open a new post and say something about myself so here I am. It seems like lots of the members here are English or are from Australia and New Zealand and I guess you know something about the US and the different states. I live in a state called Maryland on the east coast. We live on the water and my dad has a powerboat and he is all the time saying stuff like 'Where is the cabin boy when you need him' to tease me, so that is why I decided to use that as my member name. I am 14 and a freshman in high school. I just got my own laptop for Christmas and for my birthday I got my own wireless setup. No more parental controls whoohoo. I have one brother who is older than me and is a freshman in college. I wish I was closer to my brother but we just do not have much in common and we are so far apart in ages too. He likes me and everything but I think more like a pet. We get along pretty well when he is home like now for his spring break. For sports I like football YEA RAVENS! YEA TERPS! and also my school team. I am not big enough for even JV football so I do cross country and swimming. I play golf and I do trail biking too. I might do wrestling next year.

I am pretty sure that I am gay. I like girls and everything but not the same way I like guys. I mean I do not look at girls the way I look at guys. I have lots of guy friends and we hang out together all the time and I think maybe there are one or two of them who are like me. I have been way too chicken to try anything yet.

Frankly, we think such laws are silly. They do young people more harm than good. How can you possibly ask questions on a gay forum without coming out to your parents if you need consent?
