Basically a book about the struggle of an extreme fundamentalist Christian mother with a a gay son, who commits suicide on Aug. 27 1983, to learn how to understand her child.

The movie came out in 2009 on Lifetime. It's rather sad and almost a story of Mary Griffith's renewal.

Frankly, we think such laws are silly. They do young people more harm than good. How can you possibly ask questions on a gay forum without coming out to your parents if you need consent?
