I have come home. I had expected the place still to be in meltdown. I have seen further attempts at meltdown. It is not yet stable

You all understand by now that I really do not care if someone leaves. I don't care if many people leave. People who leave have little value to add.

I don't care if they come back either.

I don't care who joins.

I don't care if a participant is male, female, young, old, playing a part, telling the truth. I don't care if a participant is an 85 year old woman acting the part of a gay pubescent youth. I don't even, and this will surprise you, care if someone is here for the purpose of trying to entice a kid into things better not done with a child under the age of consent. Wise kids will never fall for that, and we real people can give them sufficient wisdom. We know what smells, we know what is innocent. Sometimes it takes us a while, but we get there.

It was the parable of The Prodigal Son. But I don't even care much about that either. I don't care much that he has now exhibited a foot stamp and leave attitude twice. He is what he is. I do detest 'leaving messages'. This one was rather long, so I weighed it instead of reading it.

But I care about the way we conduct ourselves.

I care about sniping

I care about preaching

I care about resistance to learning

I care about many more things that that

I care about keeping the forum open

I care about people suppressing egos in favour of a greater good

I care.

But not that much.

I was expecting to close it down tomorrow, for an arbitrary period. I was hoping that those I perceive as anathema to this place would leave and never return.

I'll let it run a while longer. I hope I won't need the pause.

But, if you don't need something from here, or of you have no value to add, go find a dating site.

Thank you, Warren. Please keep going. And i like your briefer, punchier style
