Does anyone know if anyone is maintaining, or has access to, the Best of Nifty site? The header shows 2023, but I have a feeling it's been tweaked a bit more recently than that.
There are a very large number of non-working links in the "novel sites" view (I counted nearly 40) - I haven't looked at the short stories.
- Many of these are to Awesomedude, which is a) understandable and b) not a problem, as the 404 error page suggests going to the home page, from where it's easy to find the author. Not all AD links are affected.
- Several are to author sites that no longer seem to exist.
- Some are to stories "removed for publication"
- A few are on Nifty - a search on "authors" found a couple of them, but some didn't show up even under a text search. In particular, I could find no sign of " A Father's Love - Fisher Boy"; "I can see clearly now - Fisher Boy"; " Forever On A Tree - Joey Gumb". I've no idea if they exist elsewhere, or are worth reading, but now am curious!
