I know i haven't posted in a long time. Real life kind of takes over sometimes and you forget to touch base. It's about just such a thing that I wanted to throw a little spotlight on. Please go to and think about what you will find at the twitter #Kony 2012, or on the web at http://youtu.be/Y4MnpzG5Sqc I'll try to embed it here. If this were going on anywhere near any of us, we'd be more than outraged. The fact that it has gone on so long is outrage enough.

Hard to know what to say about this that hasn't been said. I don't think anyone's ignoring it, we're just, well, numb

We have a different and restrained view reported here:

We must be adult in reaching our own conclusions, I think

For the sake of completeness, I found this online today and was completely gobsmacked.  I honestly don't know what to think about this as yet.  Clearly, while there is some nobility in the cause, there's also some instability as well.  Check this out and you'll see why I'm conflicted about this.

I've suffered form exhaustion and stress, too, but I don't tend to jerk off in public because of it Smile

from Right Wing Watch, apparently invisible children has had ties with Martin Ssempa, one of the people behind Uganda's "kill the gays" bill.

story here:

more background:

I suppose they can still be doing good things even with their ties to right wing groups, but I have to question their motivation. Who are they really working for.
