Yes, that well known British fuckwit Richard Hammond said this on TV. Then he went on to make sure we know that the diminutive star TV (that's 'television' not 'transvestite') presented is apparently heterosexual.
Plainly this is not acceptable, and a petition has been started today to ask the network to comment about him and censure him.

To respond would imply I cared for the sayings of the Clarkson trio. I wrote them off as sensible commentators years ago, and in my book, are nothing more than sniggering schoolboy bullies. The Top Gear 'slope' row was equally orchestrated, as was virtually anything controversial on that programme. They probably want you to complain too...

Clarkson was allowed to leave the BBC over, eventually, a racists slur. Hammond needs to have his day in the spotlight.
I expect he was hit on because he was tiny and once might have been cute. Maybe he should be deluged with gay fan-fiction!
