Hi - well I did really like all 3 stories!  But thought the long one, My Best Friend is Gay, really didn't belong here. 
It would have been a great story to put on the general list for the 16 chapters.
Nothing close to the picture was in the story.  just IMHO

The other 2 were pretty great also.  Especially Tackling, with the uninterested female coach at the end...just priceless!
And we didn't need to read German for Sieben, which was good too.

While you make a strong point that one story was not about the picture, it was only necessary for it to be inspired by the picture.

It's great that you liked it despite considering that it might not belong. The challenges are here to encourage writing talent we might not see otherwise.

That's exactly what the picture did for me: captured my interest, woke me up.  Very evocative; almost wrote the story for me.  That's what's good about these challenges: they allow you to react creatively to what you see and feel when they're posted.

I don't respond to a lot of these, but the ones that move me, I'm happy, even excited to write about.  I'm quite surpirsed this picture didn't receive more attention.
